1 GB GDDR5 • 128-bit Bus • 192 CUDA Cores • Short Form Factor • DisplayPort + HDMI + 2× DVI-I

📅 Listed on: August 30, 2026 • 🔄 Updated on: October 30, 2026 • 🛡️ Warranty: 30 days

✅ Cleaned, inspected, and tested for functionality in our workshop • $15 CAD

😊 In Plain English

A $15 stopgap solution to extend the life of a compatible older desktop PC. This GTS 450 can replace a faulty card or add a dedicated video output without replacing the entire computer. It is best suited for office work, standard video playback, and some older or lighter games, depending on the rest of the PC and the software.

1 GB GDDR5 • DisplayPort, HDMI, and two DVI-I ports. Four ports do not guarantee four simultaneous displays. This is not a choice for modern gaming.

Check before purchasing: PCIe x16 slot, a recommended minimum 400 W quality power supply for the complete PC, and a mandatory 6-pin PCIe connector. The stated length is approximately 170 mm, not an individual measurement; also check the height, thickness, and cables. Short form factor does not mean Low-Profile: it is not automatically suitable for Slim/SFF cases.

Tested for functionality under Windows 11 in our workshop • Installation and appropriate drivers must be performed on your PC • 30-day warranty from the date of billing.

Source indicated in the listing: videocardbenchmark.net. Existing scores kept for reference, not re-verified online; date and version not documented here. Not results of this specific unit. Variants of the same card, notably the GT 730, may differ. A higher score does not guarantee an identical gain in every game; drivers and the rest of the PC influence the results.

🎯 Recommended Uses and Limitations

The ZOTAC GTS 450 can be used to replace a faulty card or add a dedicated video output to an older compatible desktop PC, after checking the power supply, case, and software requirements.

  • Stopgap: compatible desktop computer, including certain Dell OptiPlex, HP EliteDesk, or Lenovo ThinkCentre towers, after checking the exact model. The range name is not enough to guarantee compatibility.
  • Office work: documents, emails, spreadsheets, and browsing, depending on the rest of the PC. Number of simultaneous monitors to be verified.
  • HD / Full HD Multimedia: standard videos, YouTube, VLC, or Netflix depending on codec, player, and service requirements.
  • Retro or light games: card games, 2D games, emulators, Stardew Valley, Among Us, Terraria depending on version and configuration.

⚠️ Limitations: not a purchase for modern gaming, high settings in 1080p, hardware Ray Tracing, professional editing, AI, or intensive 3D rendering. No guarantee of gain compared to all integrated circuits.

Cryptocurrency mining prohibited according to the warranty below.

🎮 Gaming Capabilities

2010 card: no documented FPS tests for the games below. Functionality depends on the game version, drivers, settings, and the rest of the PC; testing under Windows 11 does not guarantee every game.

  • Prefer after verification: retro games, 2D, emulators, and small browser games; older versions of Minecraft Java and Stardew Valley, without heavy mods and depending on the processor.
  • Test on a case-by-case basis: League of Legends and small Roblox experiences, with reduced settings and resolution, without a promise of fluidity.
  • Old CS:GO: check the available version; do not confuse with Counter-Strike 2, not recommended as a purchase target.
  • Not recommended: Fortnite, Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty: Warzone, and GTA V Enhanced. For GTA V Legacy, check the requirements separately; do not extrapolate from one edition to another.

For a better-suited gaming system, contact our team at 514-394-7794.

✅ Workshop Preparation and Testing

Card opened, cleaned, inspected, and tested for functionality under Windows 11 with drivers installed on the workshop workstation. Installation of the drivers on your own PC remains necessary.

💻 Before Installation

Check the PCIe x16 slot, BIOS, and PC compatibility, the recommended minimum 400 W quality power supply with a 6-pin connector, the available space for ~170 mm in length, and the appropriate drivers. Also check the height, thickness, and cables; the case must accept a standard-format card, not just Low-Profile. If in doubt, contact us before purchasing.

📦 Card delivered under sealed antistatic protection, tracked package, and reinforced packaging.

🛡️ 30-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS

Our 30-day limited professional warranty takes effect automatically on the exact billing date of the graphics card.

❌ Hardware Exclusions from the Warranty (Cases Not Covered by the Workshop):

Windows and installed programs are excluded from the warranty.

This protection exclusively covers the original hardware electronic operation of the graphics card. It expressly and without exception excludes the following situations:

  1. Software conflicts, operating system conflicts, registry issues, or incorrect installation of graphics driver files by the user (driver anomalies on the chosen system are not attributable to the hardware component).
  2. Malfunctions caused by the accidental introduction of liquids or beverages, or by exposing the card to excessive moisture.
  3. Mechanical physical breakage resulting from an accidental fall, impact, shock, deformation of the casing, or improper handling during connection to the customer's motherboard (scratched PCIe pins, forced power connectors, manually broken fan).
  4. Any sign of gross negligence, abusive use, or a manifest lack of hardware maintenance (heatsink obstructed by an extreme accumulation of dust).
  5. Hardware modifications made to the circuit board, changes to the original cooling system or casing without the written consent of our technician.
  6. The manufacturer's original identification labels, barcodes, or device serial numbers having been modified, altered, scratched out, or erased.
  7. Internal or external security seals applied by our refurbishment workshop being broken, cut, or removed.
  8. Direct physical damage caused to the card's external connection ports (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort) by forced insertion of unsuitable cables or at a bad angle.
  9. Component failures or overheating caused by external environmental factors (power grid surges, lightning, short circuits originating from the customer's inadequate or defective power supply unit).
  10. Display anomalies caused by computer virus or malware infections occurring on the customer's computer operating system.
  11. Resolution or unsupported refresh rate incompatibility issues occurring with poor-quality monitors or video conversion cables subsequently purchased by the customer.
  12. Loss of computer data or interruption of work on the connected PC during the installation or use of the component.
  13. Support fees related to configuring the graphics card's display functions under the user's control panel (manual resolution adjustment under Windows or Linux).
  14. Hardware interventions, adjustments, or maintenance attempts performed by a third-party computer workshop or a person not authorized by our store.
  15. Inappropriate, abusive, or intensive use outside the card's original specifications, including but not limited to cryptocurrency mining (strictly prohibited), intensive shared computing, or forced graphics processor overclocking (overclocking).

Repairing and reusing computers and their components helps reduce waste and make computing more accessible. This refurbished card can return to service in a compatible tower rather than being prematurely discarded.

CALL BEFORE THE TRASH! Let's discuss the possibilities of repair, reuse, or responsible recycling depending on the hardware.
